Frequently asked questions

Do I really need this if I have chip cards?
Chip cards use tokenized transactions, which are safer than old magnetic strips. But contactless (tap) cards still transmit an RFID signal that can be read from a few inches away. This sleeve blocks that signal. If your card taps to pay, it can be scanned.

Will my card still work while it's in the sleeve?
No — that's the point. The sleeve blocks the signal completely. Slide the card out to tap or insert at a terminal, then slide it back in.

Does it fit standard US credit cards and IDs?
Yes. The sleeve is sized to fit standard credit cards, debit cards, driver's licenses, and hotel key cards (3.7 x 2.5 inches).

Can I fit more than one card per sleeve?
One card per sleeve gives the best protection. Doubling up may reduce the shielding.

How to use
